Lots of work to be done this offseason.

Fitz needs to find

- a #1 goaltender that's reliable and unlikely to get injured

- a high end top 6 winger, no more of these project guys that end up sucking (e.g Tatar). I would love Forsberg but if not they should go the Nichushkin, Niederreiter, Burakovsky, Palat, Rakell, Trochek route.

- a capable RHD to replace Subban

- a way to cut some of the dead weight on this team (Tatar, Johnsson, Zacha, etc.)

I don’t see the hype of the devils getting Schultz.. I woudo get a guy that is better at defence. Also, I don’t know if Husso is really reliable.. he’s having a good season, but is he ready to be the starter making 4M…. I don’t know about that. We all thought Dreidger would be good, now look at him. All I’m saying is, I wouldn’t trust that Husso is the answer in net.

Caps decline that, can’t take Tatar’s cap hit. Sprong would be cheaper in the off-season and WSH needs cheap contracts.
