1.
SJS
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (WPG)
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (WSH)
WSH
  1. Barabanov, Alexander
Additional Details:
Barbie is an excellent playmaker and can thread some insane passes. He is extremely durable for his size and has taken some nasty hits and pops right back up.
2.
SJS
  1. 2023 6th round pick (COL)
3.
SJS
  1. Robertson, Nicholas
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (TOR)
TOR
  1. Middleton, Jake
  2. Reimer, James ($1,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Middleton's defensive numbers are very close to Chiarots, he is 4 years younger and makes less than league minimum. He also has a mean streak which would help TO significantly in the playoffs. Reimer has been excellent this year and has stolen many games for SJ. Would be a superb backup option and still has a year left.
4.
SJS
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (MIN)
MIN
  1. Nieto, Matt
Additional Details:
Nieto has put up excellent PK stats this year and is the Sharks best PKer (2nd best PK team in the league) and Minnesota has a pretty bad PK. Nieto is also signed one more year at just above league minimum.

Watch and wait. If Chiarot got that return, Middleton's is gonna be similar. Sharks may suck at contracts but they're very patient and adept traders.

no, the reason GM's went wild over chariot is he is the perfect blend if hockeyman bait. Big crosscheck machine from a team who went deep in the playoffs last time. Middleton is a 26 year old rookie with half a season under his belt on a not good team, most people didnt even know who he was until a week ago. Someone might over pay if they get desperate, but the over pay wont be even close to chariots, even though he's better than chariot.
The reason the asking price on him is high isnt because the sharks think someone will pay that, just that hes more valuable to them with their cap situation than he is to the market so it will take an over payment to get him.
