Maybe not, could be subbed out for Perreault maybe. I think Thrun is an underrated piece though 6'2 190lbs, 32 points in 34 games for Harvard and he's been nominated for best defensive defenseman in the NCAA

Rangers won't need retention on Rakell. THey have about 30m in deadline cap space. Hence why I think it'll end up being two 2nds or a 2nd and a prospect from NYR being offered. Another team may pay the bit extra for retention but rangers just don't need it. I would love to get Henrique at half personally (Retention on him since he's signed for multiple years). For him and Rakell I would be willing to package a 1st, Lundkvist.. maybe a bit more.

Was more or less to get the Ducks another 1st for Chychurn rather than the Rangers giving us one.

I dont see us retaining on Henrique the Ducks always run off of an internal budget as opposed to the salary cap, and I dont think he gets moved unless we know for sure Getz is playing next year, Rico is too valuable as a mentor for a team that keeps getting younger
