Description
What a week. I wasn’t sure at first, part of me thought the new GM was just telling us what we wanted to hear, but would do lateral moves, better known as “hockey deals” in the end, that would have the team chasing an wild card spot just to get pumped by Colorado. I was clearly wrong. He went full tear down, no questions asked. The haul was great but the most impressive move for me (not based on value but creativity) was the Vegas deal. Using your cap space to get an asset. Never thought the ducks would do something like this.

(Those are the NCAA signings I wish to see when their season comes to an end. Put them under taxi squad)

Why didn't they trade Fowler? With 50% retained I bet he could have gotten a solid return in this market

Getting paid to take Moore’s cap hit (I feel like it was probably a 2nd), then flipping that contract to eat a bit more on Dadonov (who is actually an Nhler, as opposed to Moore), and getting another 2nd is absolute tenuous.

Will be even funnier when we offer sheet Hague!

Jordan Harris on August 16. He's spent enough time in his life in Boston. Time for a change.
