I doubt mtl brings back tuna. Ghule might be in the mix.

Well he’s struggled in New Jersey and they need a shooter on the power play so Hoffman could be of interest to them. Same aav but Tatar with 1 year less on his deal. Not sure why we wouldn’t bring Tatar back though, no connection with this management group.

I don't think that's true. Tatar's been fine.
He's till driving play at both ends.
In terms of his production I think that regression is just due to Tatar getting older, he's a few years out from his prime by now.

Compared to Tatar, Hoffman is just empty-calorie production as far as the eye can see.
Getting caved in at 5v5 and his horrible possession stats weighs more heavily than a smidge better P/GP than what Tatar currently has.
Adding that 4th and Clague does in no way make up for that.
