Since Vegas blew it on dumping Dadonov to the Ducks, the trade is now being voided.

Bearing any punishment from the NHL for not respecting the NTC, specifically forfeiture of picks, here's what I think Hughes can get for giving Vegas Weber (apart from Dadonov).

Armia or Byron could find themselves on waivers to make room (I've sent Armia to Laval because I feel his value is lower despite making as much as Byron, since he has much more term). Price is shut down for the remainder of the season and placed on LTIR.

Per Agent Allan Walsh, a player traded after the deadline cannot play in the regular season or playoffs. Dadonov would be scratched.

Additional Details:

This whole trade depends on whether Montreal is on his NT list or not. That being said, I think the Habs can get more considering how desperate Vegas is to extend their cap space through LTIR over the next few seasons. For reference, Seabrook was traded to TB for Tyler Johnson and a second round pick but was making less than Weber (and their situation was less urgent). However, Dadonov, a second round pick and a AHL player would be good too.
