Oh is it that time of year again? The time of year where a rookie prospect is just going to save the day for the leafs?

FYI theres a salary cap in this league.

Agree with you with about these college signings (for any team)....Surprisingly the Leafs signed Harvard player Abrusszee this week. Now I don't mind the signing but it would be foolish to try to get him into 10 games so he can burn a year off this ELC.

Muzzin isnt coming back unless we have another LTIR injury. And honestly holding him out till post season will allow for him to rest and let those aches and pains heal up nicely. And no it aint no cap shenanigans as concussion recovery is not a quick and fast process and considering he had 2 within a month he should take all the time he needs.

And I know Knies is having this amazing year but rushing him into the NHL or even the AHL could ruin him

Would honestly rather have him play one more year in NCAA. That way we know for sure if this is the real deal.
