He did not get vaccinated so Lou sent him to play in Sweden. No reason to dump him for a low draft pick now, better to keep him and let him play in the AHL next year, or swap him for a similar prospect but a 4th would not entice Lou to move him.

yeah but why has his minutes in Sweden dropped so low? he should dominate at that level.

I wouldn't trade a draft pick for him. Maybe a guy like ruotsalainen or wait until hes not tendered

No real reports recently on his game there but considering the lack of D depth at the prospect level it would make more sense to keep him unless getting a 2nd back and clearly his value is not a 2nd right now.

imo he’s just not an nhl player. he’s regressed since his draft year and really doesn’t look to be doing much of anything in the second tier swedish league. maybe he comes back to the ahl and gets called up and proves me wrong but i doubt he’s a difference maker at the next level
