I wouldnt want him to get his head taken off and get concussion issues or something before he adjusts to the speed of the game. He is also a smaller player edmonton doesnt need to get smaller heading into the playoffs.

It worked for Caufield last year! Seriously though, I don't see it happening. Holloway maybe, but not Savoie. He'll go to Bakersfield and bolster their scoring depth for an AHL playoff run and be better for the experience.

I do think Savoie is signed by Monday though - and in Bakersfield on an AHL try-out by this time next week.
