    As the team around him got worse his numbers declined, but I still think the Ducks could get a top 9 forward, a top prospect and a 1st rounder. I'd imagine you'd need a stop gap goaltender until Dostal is ready to take over.

    I just don’t see why he would be on the market. They’re going to hold onto him through a rebuild, and the second they start to look better, like they could actually be competing next year, they move him? Makes no sense.

    Gibson has a 10 team no trade list, So we assume it's all 8 Canadian teams and 2 American teams, Unless the Ducks would get a massive haul for him. I would just hang onto him for the time being.

    And they barely missed the playoffs, so they aren't far off. If the team continues to draft like they have the last few seasons, they'll be contenders in a couple years. MacTavish, Zegras, Dysdale, were great picks. Go a bit further and Troy Terry was another great selection, so maybe Gibson waits it out a bit.
