Description
They really are such a mess.... We are so far away from competing its not even funny. We need to stockpile picks for 2023 and hopefully hit on a top 4 pick in 22. If we trade some assets right. we could get a decent bit of younger pieces and picks that could help us turn this around in 3-4 years. In my eyes we should take an Arizona- Anaheim approach.
This summer is going to be massive, and I believe we will see a lot of pieces shipped out.
My hope is that we DO NOT retool, even though ownership is ruining this team... Dave Scott.. THINKS WE ARE ONE PIECE AWAY.
In reality, they will overpay Kadri..... Yuck.

These values might be off a tad, but in my eyes its the ground work of the deal that matters.
Another note- I believe Ryan Ellis retires, this entire season has been very shady with him and now there are reports he has not been around the team in months? I think he is done....

with the pick we have in 22, as of right now flyers are around 3-4---- I am going to assume they take Logan Cooley. He will play one year at Minnesota, then come here. I signed him just to show some depth when it comes to prospects.

We should also eat bad contracts, I did Monahan, but it could be lucic as well. I know this will really help out the Flames.

Possibly, but you've sold low on alot of these guys.

I'm no huge Koneckny fan, but in a season where the entire team cant score and both the 1C and 2C missed half or more of the season and giroux was dealt, and he'll still finish with almost 55 pts?

Hes worth more than a 1st and a prospect who hasnt broken through (as yet).

Sanheim, while not a 1st pairing guy is coming off his best season, and I would expect him to fetch that package if not a bit more WITHOUT retention. (Same with Lindblom)

I just dont think youre acquiring enough value to move guys who are signed reasonably and in their mid 20s. And yet youve kept JVR, Ellis and added Gudbranson (as a 1RD?) and Monahan? Its just a bit all over the place, and seems random at best.

It's such a tough question since we have no clue what the Flyers FO are going to do. They say they are going to do a quick retool, but it's not what they should do. If we are going to do a re-tool and try to compete next year, trading TK wouldn't make much sense.

If we are going to rebuild it, I would say it would start with Lundmark, Heinola, and a 1st.

Not sure the Blues do that, but I suppose it's a small possibility. The main problem is he can walk next summer.
