Description
Size, goal scorer, experienced veteran with championship acumen, 3-time cup champ, excellent leader for a young team.

Yes I have him on the wing here, I believe he has some experience playing on Crosby's wing. Hughes struggles in the face-off dot and often starts shifts on the wing so Malkin can step in and take draws.

It's not a bad thought.

The one thing I think I would change on this one is not signing Husso to that deal - I feel like he's been very good over his NHL career, sure - but that career is only 55 games long so far. I think, if you're having the Devils move out the 3 guys you have listed up there, I'd try and swing a package for another goalie to come in and play a 1A/1B with Jake Allen - or, hell, substitute one of those guys in for Blackwood and have Blackwood/Allen be your tandem going into next year. Both of them have had enough success in their past to trust them in net, but both of them have shown they look better when they don't have the pressure of being the clear-cut, #1 starter. I think they both have a decent season next year getting 35 starts and letting Nico Daws or Akira Schmid come in and get the leftover 10-12 games to get some more seasoning.

from the Habs specifically? not sure. It's very hard to gauge his value because he looked incredible last year and then awful this year. Maybe a 2nd and a decent prospect?

Samsonov or Vanecek from WSH would be nice, not sure who else could be available on the trade market. Husso seems like the easy solution, good numbers and will come pretty cheap.
