Yotes win tonight means that if the Habs lose either of the next two games in regulation they clinch last, guaranteeing them a top 3 pick for Wright, cooley, or Slafkovsky (could throw Nemec there too I guess but my top 3 is those guys and Nemec is 4, followed by Savoie). Here’s how I think the team shapes up next year if they land wright (if it’s Cooley, Slafkovsky or nemec slide Poehling to 3C and Dellandrea on the fourth line cause any of those three need to develop for a year). With the Calgary pick or their second round pick I’d love for them to take a chance on a top 10 talent like Miroshnichenko. Habs prospect pool has a ton of depth and Miroshnichenko could be a high end piece if he’s able to come back so it’s 100% worth the risk.
