Description
This one is tough to overcome. I’m still not 100% sure how he was hirt, but my guess is a mild concussion as he left shortly after taking a stick to the face. While I muller Mmmmm over some other options, Protas seems like the best replacement for Wilson. I considered McMichael and Snively for this as well, but I don’t think either would work as I don’t think McMichael is as well suited to this type of hockey as Protas is, and Snively likely isn’t healed yet. I’d move him to the first line based on his success with Ovi and Kuzy, and put Sheary with Mantha and Eller as he should be able to drive plays for that line. Other lines should stay the same for game 2 tomorrow.

Looks pretty solid. I would consider switching Oshie and Sheary (for additional speed on that second line), but that would be an in-game adjustment. Couldn't agree more with Protas though.

Regarding Wilson: I believe it was a lower body injury (according to post game talk on NBC Wash) - ankle during a board battle is my guess

thanks for the clarification! that type of injury worries me a bit more, but hopefully he/s back soon.

Regarding Oshie and Sheary, I agree with that sentiment, seems like a good in-game adjustment to make.

Yeah hope so too. And Carlson - I know he took a late game, high hit and had to go to the locker room with about 30 sec left.
