But NSH can get Askarov's goaltending prowess on an ELC...why not keep him.

not happening. More likely to move Saros than Askarov IMO but neither are getting shipped. It would have to be like Saros, other player or pick and Jeanot for Marner or something crazy. 1 2 and 3 plus B prospect isnt enough

Nashville isn't dealing Askarov especially not for those pieces.

If Vincent Trocheck wanted his same money $4,750,000 x 4 years he'd just stay in Carolina try more like $5,750,000 x 6 years at the very least if not way more.

Nashville drafted Saros in 2013, in his D+3 year he had an outstanding rookie season in the AHL.it then took Saros 3 more seasons to steal the starting job from Rinne. Thats 6 years of development, which is pretty average for a goalie. Dont expect Askarov to be much different, he's literally no where near NHL ready and the presence of Saros has zero effect on his availability
