Additional Details:
Probably a stretch but Vegas has no loyalty to their players and Karlsson has had a couple down years + Eichel, Stephenson and Roy form an affordable 123 C trio. They get back an effective middle six player and a young player with top six upside on an ELC who might need a change in scenery

I like william karlson but hes another soft swedish type player with zero grind. Also, i don't know how productive it would be moving tavares to the wing where he's never played. Wing also requires even more speed.

Karlsson isn’t a super physical guy but he knows how to grind. Don’t forget he was a bottom six defensive type until Vegas picked him up. He also has plenty of playoff experience. Tavares I think needs to play the wing to remain effective. It might require more speed on offense to play wing, but that’s not his issue. The second line needs to be better defensively and getting a 2C lifts Tavares responsibilities in his own zone. Look at the success guys like Giroux and Pavelski have had switching to wing.

There might be a deal involving the Woods going to Toronto but seems to me that your suggestion's a little light on value going to the Devils.
A capdump goalie downgrade and a late 1st isn't gonna cut it imo.

I think with Miles Wood’s injury he’s more of a throw-in in this trade. I think Mrazek’s cap dump is probably worth a 2nd and Blackwood is probably worth a 2nd then add in Wood and the two seconds go up to a 1st. I could be undervaluing the Woods a bit but I feel like this is the right ballpark

Once again, the Blues have no use for Holl. Not sure why Leafs AGMs keep sending him over.

And why would you do Vegas such a huge favor? That's waaaaay too generous.
xercuses liked this.
