So you want Arizona to give up a productive, cheap, 3rd-4th player and 2nd rounder for a massive cap dump, a late first round pick, a 2nd and a third round pick. I don’t see much incentive for them. Boyd produced about as much as you can expect van Riemsdyk to there. You can definitely make the argument that Arizona’s second round pick will be higher than the one they get from Philly too. So it amounts to them getting an extra third and moving up a few spots from round two to the late round one, taking on a massive salary for the year, losing years of production from Boyd in exchange for a guy who puts up the same for only one year. I don’t think they go for that.
