Johansen outperformed Boeser this year by a large margin. Boeser is also due for a big payday. The Ingram trade is definitely interesting. I could see both sides entertaining that if TOR doesn't re-sign Campbell.

Toronto accepts.

Instead of Johansen try Granlund. Take out 1 1st round pick. Change the other 1st to a 2nd.

I'd probably do that as Vancouver. Granlund provides more value for his contract than Johansen.

Boeser has outperformed Johansen every other year and will be making less than Johansen even with a "big payday". Without this season Johansen looks like a big cap dump and I think he will regress back towards the mean.

Boeser on the other hand was going through a lot with his dad's health. He is resilient and will bounce back to his previous form.
