Description
Probably not too realistic but wanted to try something new.

Not sure on March value so feel free to chime in there. I'm also aware he's probably not the piece they move out even though they'll likely have to move some guys out to make next season's cap work. Dadonov probably is most likely assuming they can find a team not on his list lol.

Gurianov has definitely fallen out of favor in DAL, maybe that changes with a new coaching staff but he could benefit from a different situation and could be a cheap, high reward / low risk bet for the Canes. If he doesn't work out Fast can go back on the third line. If he does, he has an elite shot and goal scoring ability which would especially help out on the PP.

Not sure what Giroux actually wants to do but assuming he's on board with taking a bit less to go to a contender that could be a reasonable deal. Could also replace him with a handful of FAs.

Let Keane get a shot at 3RD and PP2 with Zadarov as the anchor on that pair.

Idk what the deal is w/ Gardiner yet other than he's been medically cleared and will be meeting w/ the team in the coming weeks. I don't think there's a spot for him on the team and it messes up next years cap structure if they don't move him. Figured ARI makes sense if you throw in some sweeteners and he could potentially show that he's serviceable and allow them to move him to another team during the season with some retention for more assets.

ok, maybe I misread the situation but it seemed like he had really fallen out of favor and was out of the lineup for large stretches and in the playoffs. What's his value in a trade?

Bowness is a dinosaur that doesn’t know what he’s doing outside of the dzone. Guri’s value is low right now. Which is why I’d prefer we kept him and found a coach that knows what to do with him. His lack of IQ is a bit concerning, but I feel like nobody in the old coaching staff bothered to work with him which is infuriating. Taking him off the power play was also mind boggling. Kid was a force in the bubble and always dangerous on the power play. I don’t recall a single PP goal in the playoffs this past year. Hmmmmm maybe coaching is the problem. Lol. Sorry for venting

Fair enough haha - I always liked his game, especially from the bubble. Kid has a lethal shot and has so much upside. I figured it was probably more of a coaching issue but if he's available and Dallas wants to let go of him I'd love to take a shot on him. He has some of the skills that we're missing offensively and could really elevate our PP which is main reason that we lost in the playoffs.

Never say never but I don’t see them letting him go. The front office has said they want more offense and skill. And they saw what happened to Nichushkin when Rado put him in a position to succeed. So if they make the same mistake twice it’s pretty much inexcusable. I’d like to see them add a second line winger to play with Seguin and Peterson. And a third line of Benn-Damiani/Bourque-Guri
