Description

Personally, I'd rather trade Boeser than Garland but I think Pittsburgh would prefer Garland due to his contract. This deal also relieves some cap issues for Pittsburgh, and nets them an NHL ready prospect in Rathbone.

IMO Rathbone is a really good prospect, but isn't a fit with the Canucks due to Hughes' role and size. I doubt the Canucks would like two undersized LD on the roster because it creates issues on the PK, and the addition of Dermott crowds it even more. I know he says he can play RD but it didn't look great when he tried.

No doubt he's got a ton of potential, but what successful NHL team has run two 5'10 dmen? There's only 13 dmen in the league that played 25+ games this season, and are listed at 5'10 or under.
