Buffalo doesn't want a terrible defenseman and cap dump with no incentive to take him.

It's a common theme. A bad team with cap space will be happy to take your crappy players. I have always thought that the cost of taking cap dumps is far too low, like old boy network low. The Sabres have brought in contracts where the cap hit is higher than the actual salary they will pay out, in an effort to essentially circumvent the floor. Does this honestly seem like a team that's gonna take on a crappy player (2 years of course) just to do another team a solid? It'll cost, or take your business elsewhere. And I don't think our owners are gonna be selling cap space cheap, especially if they are writing the checks out of their own accounts.

you can have a 7th, Nemeth could go to any team, i wasn't specifically picking Buffalo...
but my guess is you just scroll down cap friendly looking for the Sabre logo to make some silly comments about how Buffalo "doesn't want your trash."

you Buffalo fans have to start being less sensitive, for the first time in a decade things are looking up and you may even have a playoff team in the next 3-4 years.

wait, didn't Buffalo just trade for Bishop and only get a 7th? sort of contradicts your above statement?
also, are you on the Buffalo payroll? you talk like you are.

The Bishop contract will remain on IR and not take a spot on the active roster in additon to the contract being insured and only costing Buffalo 700k in actual dollars. Nemeth has 2 more years on his deal and would take a roster spot in addition to LD being a position of strength for the team. If they were to add a LD I'd imagine it would be something more of a budget player/7D type.
