It's kind of awful for Boston. I think Puljujarvi is the better player and I would definitely trade for him (I really don't value DeBrusk highly), but he has not shown it with the counting stats. Offensively there is a difference to the GMs I imagine. And then the other players/money makes no sense to me. I think Kassian is better than Foligno, but honestly I think it's very close. Kassian is widely inconsistent, especially physically. So much so that I would never want him. I don't understand him. The extra yr absolutely kills this trade. Foligno is a bad signing, but it's only 1yr, and maybe you sell yourself on new coach and his locker room presence. Again, it's only a yr. Zero reason for Boston to help Edmonton with LTIR. To me this is probably missing 2 seconds.
