IDK why people keep saying this with the wingers on the market. They won’t get to UFA. Somebody will trade for them and somebody will get them to sign a contract.

Someone might trade for them, but there's absolutely no guarantee they're going to extend where they are traded. The player's former team shouldn't be compensated for years they don't control, so returns like these that include 3 top quality prospects and multiple draft picks including a 1st for one guaranteed year of a player's services are absurd.

Pretty unintelligent take. Highly likely that he signs an extension with Boston, or with a team that trades for him. Though Boston trading him is highly unlikely.
