Description
The kid line showed up big in the playoffs. Create a three headed monster first line, followed up by youth. Third line is a prove it line like this past years. Fourth line is one of the better ones around. Give the young guys a shot, don’t overpay vets that’ll block them. Have enough cap space to load up at the deadline still.

Imagine thinking turcotte, who hasn’t really done anything but get injured since being drafted, is worth a young top 4 d. Rangers taking a chance and still giving up one of their better prospects in Jones.

No one said that Turcotte is worth Miller. Just that Turcotte isn't going out unless Miller is coming back. Last summer it probably would have been an even swap. This summer, the Kings would need to add.

I mean you are acting like turcotte is some massive prize. He’s often injured, held pointless in his 8 game audition, and put up 19 points in 27 ahl games.

Jones has 6 points in 22 nhl games, and put up 35 in 52 in the ahl. He’s a solid rising prospect while turcotte has fallen. Even recent prospect rankings have shown this.
