Pastrnak trade Premised on the Bruins not being able to work out their existing questions and deciding to go for a full rebuild.

Knight trade is premised on the somewhat uneasy situation in FLA, where they have bob signed for the next few years at a high hit, and are in win now, so fitting Knight in may be difficult. Thus a nice enough package perhaps would sway them. Here, they get a established top six forward with good analytics and potential to be a 30 goal scorer, a first round pick in a loaded draft, and a very good goaltending prospects in Daws (who obviously doesn't have Knight's pedigree but has similar underlying numbers, such that he should be a fine, and cheap backup option, with 1B potential). The swap with Severson for Gudas provides an upgrade on RD with salary retained to make it work. Thus it makes them more competitive now, while adding good assets.
