Description

Before you come after me, “reports” (speculation) are that Malkin doesn’t care about money for this deal. He’s made like $120m over the course of his career and perhaps wants to chase a cup before going to retire in the KHL. Blues make the deal for Chychrun and say “this team is ready to compete now.” Bring in Fluery to mentor JB but also chase another cup. Elite forwards/defense and a goalie combo with two cup winners.

I laughed out loud. Just because he doesn't care doesn't mean he's gonna go cheap. Realistically Malkin is a career Penguin he probably won't ever move and he's already won multiple cups same with Fleury.
