I know they have a desire to bring Kane back, and I think if they came to a settlement with Kane's team and SJ they could get a similar deal like this one done. 50% salary is 10.5m over 3 years, but that's a pretty good return. Sharks probably say yes, especially if it lets us finally move on from Kane.

UFAs are always overpaid on day 1-2, notably the top UFAs

You can get the secondary UFAs for cheap.

Husso and Campbell will be overpaid considerably
