      I mean it would cost more than a first and a third either. Also low incentive for many players to sign with Canadian markets because taxes n stuff. Also the habs wouldn’t be good by the time they are RFAs so really it’s likely giving up a lottery pick in 2024 or 2025. Habs are gonna be pretty bad for a while bruh

      If the Canes spend over 12M on 2 young 3rd liner with future top 6 upside, they won't win for the next few years either, just like the Habs.

      Difference is the only thing the habs won this year was the draft lottery. Ideally dach does what KK does in this BS scenario but canes still win because Montreal loses. We will cut off our noses to spite our face.
