The deal isn't worth a first, Andersons contract without retention isn't that appealing, Puljujarvi has a higher ceiling and with proper development and guidance will be better than Anderson. No first and honestly you should be jumping at this offer from the Oilers

zero chance MTL does this. Not that I agree with it, but it looks like any team trying to acquire Allen (on his own) will have to give up a 1st rd pick. The supply and demand for Goalies right now is off the charts, and Hughes has already made it very clear he doesn't want to move Allen, nor does he need to. Again, I don't believe Allen is worth that much, but there is a guarantee that teams that will lose out on the available goalies, will look to trade for one. Hughes will be looking to capitalize on this to get a better asset for Allen.

I'm tired of debating Anderson's value on here, but very similarly to Allen, supply and demand for Power Forwards is high. Now, the same can be said for Poolparty, but it makes zero sense for MTL to swap Anderson for him. Habs would just prefer to keep him.
