Description

Wait for desperate teams at the TDL and make bank selling off cheap 1 year rental players, then for the last 20ish games of the season rotate in different kids from Rockford to play 8-9 games each then be sent back down to compete for the calder cup, give them playoff experience, win Bedard/Fantilli/Michkov, profit. Hopefully we keep strengthening our AHL team for the kiddos.

Steel is interesting was a first round pick was semi-productive could be worth a look as 3C. I'm sure other teams are looking at him but after this year he would be given an even bigger opportunity with Toews (most likely) gone.
Kuokkanen is good defensive forward. Im not high on Katchouk and could be a replacement.
Bring back my boy Calvin who is a shot blocking machine. Kinda crazy we couldn't find a buyer last season but it was probably because of salary.
Lankinen had a disastrous year but so did the hawks in general. Considering you could write a novel about Mrazeks injuries I'm betting on him going down and it would be nice to have some insurance. Also I just like Lankinen.

Domi and AA probably get the hawks a mid round pick each, not really crazy about it considering they could've kept a younger player in Strome and gotten more for him at the deadline. I think the Hawks best shot at getting another 1st is a cap dump or Kane trade.

If Raddysh continues to progress, I can see him garnering a return somewhat similar to Hagel. He's making league minimum this season and the next, it seems like a great opportunity for a team with little wiggle room.

I think he scored most of his goals against Detroit. It's a 2 year deal. We'll see what happens. He has some skills.

If Domi plays with Kane he nets 50 points easy, thats worth at least a second rounder maybe more if we retain. AA will probably only be a mid rounder though. Forget where I heard but apparently Hawks were offered a late rounder for Strome so not worth it and its probably better optics to let a great player like him choose his future instead. Kane should get a first for sure, I'd hope for a Giroux like return. Raddysh was a pleasant surprise could see him putting up points next year.
