Description

I thinking that drafting Nemec makes Severson expendable and now that we lost out on Gaudreau, would it make sense to trade Severson as a piece to get back a top winger?

I think we have a lot of backlog in the system for defensemen and Bahl or Okhotyuk or Walsh could play that bottom pair with B. Smith. Eventually call Nemec up this year.

But I think now we don't necessarily need to resign Severson and maybe moving him for a winger is the play here. Thoughts?

Extension is whatever if the cost is also a UFA, but you're spot on that Nemec just isn't ready. Our top 6 is perfectly fine for the year.
