Description
While it seems unlikely is a candidate for NYI let's take a look at what it may cost base don the confirmed TSN reports that the CAL will seek the following to make a trade and this does seems a fair cost: 1)unprotected 2023 first round, top 6 forward, top 9 forward and prospect. Let's assume the top 9 F could be swayed to a higher prospect but rightfully so the deal must include the 2023 first rounder and top 6 F.

It didn’t cost a first to dump Andrew Ladd. Do you honestly think it would cost a third to dump Josh Bailey? We get it. You don’t like Josh Bailey. That’s no reason to shoot this team in the foot because of it.

Also there is no way in hell Calgary takes that low ball offer for Tkachuck.

Don't dislike Bailey at all actually and yes it didn't cost a first to dump Ladd but it does in today's market as the "cap space" teams have asked for and gotten firsts to absorb whole salaries. I am fine keeping Bailey but these things are for fun and fantasy not seriousness. But you cant keep Bailey and get Tkachuk if you even want him. Preferably I would go all in for Lindholm. Tkachuk has all the cards here. CAL knows he is leaving at latest end of year so they have to take what they can. The unprotected '23 first is key for them in a stellar draft plus a top 6 F as they stated plus a top 9 forward and/or multiple prospects. It's not as far off as you think

Don’t use the Mrazek trade as your reasoning for giving up a first. Dubas is a ****ing hack and Mrazek is beyond terrible. Be better.
