The idea behind that trade is that Arizona flips him to a contender. So jets basically hand over an asset to Arizona that they retain on and flip for assets. Jets may need to add a sweetener and not take back any assets to make it happen.

He probably won’t make it easier for you to move him. And he legit waited for his rights to expire instead of going to Arizona. I doubt he wants to help them either.

He’s expressed mutual interest in moving on from Winnipeg. I’m sure he’d be all for getting moved to a contender. If the trade is in place from Arizona to a contender I think he waives for sure.

I hasn’t seen the trade request tbh. I could c Boston having interest in a reunion but I’m not sure where he fits in their lineup.
