Bouchard is really starting to come around. I think maybe a 2-3 year deal is more likely. Not sure of his UFA year, so whatever takes him to RFA final year.

As for Detroit? Not happening now. Roster is full with a handful of youths trying to make the team. JP would have to be in the bottom 6, as the top 6 is actually pretty solid. Can't see giving up a 2nd for a guy who has struggled early in his career, only to give him less opportunity to succeed by having him play 10 to 15 minutes a night at best.
