My take on the 24 worst contracts in the league

There aren't really THAT many horrific deals in the league. This is my take on the worst ones based off of AAV, term, recent performances, skill, my subjective projection of a players development, durability & health and lastly their age
So if your favorite player is on here, i'm not saying he's necessarily a hot garbage player, just that his contract is amongst the worst in the league. Sorry not sorry.

Now some of you, or maybe most of you, might think I'm nuts for putting Nichushkin on here. But I honestly think giving him that amount of money and for 8(!!) years after 1 really good season is worse than the Josh Anderson contract and I think it will go down as an ultra rare Sakic L in the end and a huge mistake.
That's just my opinion / projection however and you're free to roast me for it haha!

Malkin is an incredible player but he's injured more than he's healthy and he'll be making 6.1 mil until he's 40. I know it's a "legacy contract" but it doesn't make it any less bad. Only good thing is that his contract is cheap to buyout in the last year of that deal (age 39), but I seriously doubt he'll be even playing by then.

I'm aware Silfverberg only has 2 years left on his deal, but he shouldn't be making a buck over 1.5m the way he's been playing. Shocking.

If Zaitzev had like 4-5 years of term left, he'd be my first choice on this team..

Blues fans will be the first to tell you that Binner has lost his touch compared to the cup year, especially in the playoffs. Unless he finds his form again, his 6mx5 is gonna be a long 5 years.
