While I think Newhook deserves to be 2C, I wouldn’t be shocked if it ends up being Rantanen or Compher next year.

Problem with Kessel is where does he fit? Have to use him as a top 6 wing really and the Avs are covered there. He's more of a luxury and I don't think the Avs could give him the term he'd want.

JT Comp can play C and when Kessel was in Pitt he made the famous HBK line which by the way was Pitts 3rd line that helped them win 2 cups

Imagine a 3rd line of Myers-Compher-Kessel

Kessel's playmaking, Compher's grit, and Myers all around game could make for something interesting
