I'm not crazy about this trade, but I wouldn't get out the torches and pitchforks if it happened. Note that it more or less depends upon trading Sean Walker, or else signing Sandin for $1.5 million or less.

My wishful thinking is Walker for Sandin (we could add a 2023 third), or Walker and Spence for Sandin and the Toronto third.

I agree with you that this is the make-it-or-break-it camp for Lias Andersson.

8 teams can afford him but what is he? A bottom 4 defenceman with limited upside? Or is he just an injury waiting to happen?
