If Kerfoot has Winnipeg on his trade list......just take his one year contract for free, Leafs need cap. Jets keep Dillon and are still cap compliant.

Just my opinion.......Dubas is just hoping that the cap is gonna work somehow. Also Kerfoot's M NTC, can almost guarantee you can avoid a team with enough cap to trade for him without sending cap back to the Leafs. Leafs are weak at centre if any of the top 3 are ever injured. Leafs kinda need Kerfoot, though I think cap wise he's the most logical candidate to be traded.
