Valimaki's best asset was that he could skate well with the puck, he's recently looked like he's skating at an ECHL level. If the Flames can get anything for him of value they should take it and run.

That was my expectation due to his ankle injury, but I'm not entirely sure. Couldn't find many credible reports on it since June, so had to guess he wouldn't be available for quite some time.
