What I think will be left at the end of training camp...

Sprong is killing it in TC right now... He may have earned a look at t a 9 game tryout... That said, I don't think you can move anyone in the Top 9 out of the top 9 right now, so if he gets one, it will probably be a 4th line or possibly 3rd line role. If Sprong doesn't get the tryout, you'll probably see Rust or Wilson in that spot, possibly Sundqvist.

Clendening will stay in Pitt... He may not be active, but no chance we lose him to waivers.

Gonch is a wash, let him walk. Pouliot looks like he needs more time to adjust, so start him in the AHL... Can always call him up if need be since he isn't waiver eligible.

Erixon might get claimed, but no big loss really. He hasn't impressed with his camp performance.

I bet he does. He's looked pretty bad in his own end. Some AHL time will do him good.

That said everyone has looked pretty bad so...

I just saw on the Pens website that Wilson got sent down. I think DP stays, and Farnham or Rust is the 13th Forward. Sprong's earned a 9 game tryout, and that might work out well with Eric Fehr coming back from injury.

That said everyone has looked pretty bad so...
Clendening has looked excellent. I think's he assured a spot in the roster, at the very least as the 7th D. Dumoulin has struggled a bit but he's looked good on a pairing with Cole, so they might get a shot. Really, the biggest reason to send Pouliot down is that they can do it without worrying about waivers... If they have to send Clendening or Dumo down, both are getting snagged off waivers immediately.
