I wouldn’t move Thomson or JBD. Young righty d men who are under control have value. Especially considering how thin they r on the right side.

If Formenton is looking for Batherson money, Edmonton doesn't come close to that. Also they can't afford it

I have a hard time imagining that Formenton is asking for 5 M$ a season now...

On a similar contract, Formenton has a lot more value than Puljujärvi IMO, I would never do that 1 vs 1... I mean, Formenton is the 2nd fastest skater behind McDavid and lead the league in SH goals in his rookie season

If you swap Thomson for Brannstrom, do you think it's still enough?

I find the OP's package among the most realistic packages I have seen so far. That's the price I'd be ready to pay. Not a cent over though
