I was just taking a look at Murphy, but he's had some concussions in the last year. I'd prefer to get Savard from Montreal or Brown from Arizona, even if Murphy has the better pedigree. But **** that's a huge price for a 2nd pairing D.

I also would like Meier, but not at the cost of a franchise cornerstone +

Savard is bad now and Brown is a 7th D at best. Jensen is actually the guy they should take a look at in the offseason in reality. Defense only guy the ducks could use in top 4 or TVR for 3rd pair similar to Jensen. Also it’s not that big of a price for Murphy and his 3 years left. Lundestrom has struggled to find any offense in his game and it’s really hindering him.

I know ducks fans will hate trading Drysdale. But that’s part of the fun lol.

In all honesty tho if the ducks get Fantilli or Bedard they should move Lundestrom or some prospects for a top line LW or top pair RHD.

Savard is at the least killing it for my fantasy team with shot blocks and hits, and has somehow stayed incredibly healthy despite his age. Though his remaining contract likely doesn't age that well, I don't think he is bad. Brown is currently playing 2nd pairing minutes for the Yotes this season which is a significant step up from his career average so far, but he isn't faltering under the pressure.

We really just need a mean big SOB to play 2 RD. Murphy could be the guy, but a 1st + is a huge overpayment.

The 24 1st and lundestrom, and maybe some other minor adds I would accept to use for Meier. I don't think we should loose Jones, we need his size and physicality, even if its on the 4th line. I am also not sold on Pastranak at almost 11 mil. I'd rather Meier-Zegras-Terry be the top line with X-McTavish-Strome be the 2nd line, where X is Vatrano, Henrique, or whoever we draft in the top 5 this year.
