Description
I'll be the first to say, I don't think Kane waives to Canada I fully expect he goes to the Eastern states.

If he were to waive though what are Hawks fans thoughts on the package below?

Coronato - Chicago fans are more familiar with him than a lot of Flames fans already. I think he's a borderline untouchable in the organization but to get Kane for a year when Huberdeau is still getting paid under 6 million it's worth the risk.

Kylington - Tough to evaluate at this point, I think his value is diminishing the longer he sits out in terms of his deal walks him directly to UFA, if Chicago isn't turning a corner and becoming a more competitive team nothing is stopping Kylington from testing the market after next season. He could be an excellent piece at the deadline for a rebuilding team next season if he comes back and plays at a top 4 level again.

Kerins - Put up insane numbers in the OHL last season, game hasn't translated to the pros yet by the looks of training camp but he's a good long term prospect that could fit really nice in Chicago's time line if he pans out. 8 points in his first 7 ECHL games and called up to the Wranglers this week

Have to think Chicago is accepting nothing less than a 2023 1st in any Kane deal.

As a rental who chooses exactly where he goes he should bot cost that much and Coronato should be off limits with Wolf

Agreed. Coronato is as close to untouchable as it gets but I think that if the cost to acquire Kane requires Coronato it would be tough not to pull the trigger before the new contracts kick in. In terms of choosing where he goes would you not think he does the same as Tkachuk did for Calgary, provide a list of teams that he would be willing to move to? If that's the case and Calgary was on the list it would probably be a list of 5 - 10 teams getting into a bidding war. I think that's my line of thinking in the cost being so high.

I think it's less teams than that. I think they will tell him which teams are legitimately interested and he will choose like 2-3. Same way Giroux did. I think if Coronato is asked we ahould look at options like Tarasenko and (soon may be in the mix) Guentzel

In reality for sure it will be less, I guess I'm trying to say is IF Calgary was on that list you would have to think a lot of teams would be.

Standings will obviously shake up but man, a Guentzel, Mantha, Buchneivich, Tarasenko like deal would sure fit nicely.

That’s a crazy over payment and giving up Coronato for a few month rental is a really bad idea

You’ve said numerous times that Kylington has little to no trade value and that Calgary doesn’t have a good Prospect Pool, so why just give them away and/or would CHI want them!?

You’re $3mil over the Cap too. You need to put more effort, thought and review in to your proposal before posting
