The best ideas Ive seen to improve this team combined

I do think Dunn would be good, but moving forward, you have given up a first and you still dont have a spot for Ty Smith, so it seems kind of unnecessary.
Ottawa would probably prefer to keep that cap space for a dman and not Kapanen.
Motte has been solid for them, so they probably pass. I like Poehling and dont see the need to move him for now.
Sturm holds more value than those guys I would assume.

Svechnikov and sturm are the sharks best depth forwards and they are worth more than that. if that’s the best offer sharks pass

Bunch of worse depth and low level players aren’t what San Jose moves their good depth players for.

What’s a fair offer for those players individually then?

Honestly I wouldn’t trade either. not because they are irreplaceable but because the are more valuable to the sharks than any fair offer they’d get.
for reference i would say
Sturm for a 3rd
Svechnikov for a 5th
those are fair prices… but that isn’t enough to consider moving them as they have played well above expected so far this season.
