He's too expensive and signed for too long, they probably can barely get him to fit next season, and would need to downgrade the bottom 6 and defense, but in that 3rd year if they extend Matthews and Nylander they most likely can't afford him even with the cap rising.

If he's contract was like 4mx2 then maybe they can take him and let Bunting go.
