Only move I'd make if this team can get healthy - get another puck moving D for the third pair and second unit. Not sure cost to acquire but some set of picks/prospects with retention. Originally thought might need 3rd party retention but not likely since this team is over cap but also running 24-man roster. Potentially move Raanta if Freddy shows he's healthy ahead of deadline and roll w/ him and Koochie. Kase / Noesen / Step could all miss time or be sent down if needed.

Just send Kochetkov back down. He's not better than Freddie at this point. Let him go get consistent game time in Chicago since he is waiver exempt

Yeah, I left it like that just to show that they can carry 3 goalies if the minor injuries continue even though that wouldn't be ideal. I'd honestly prefer to go w/ Freddy/Koochie combo at this point if Freddy can prove he's healthy and give them an even split of games but am comfortable w/ any 3 of them at this point if healthy.

The Vik is back! Good to have you weigh in. I too would suggest we hang onto our goalie depth. We saw what happened last year. Only way I would move Raanta out is if we were able to upgrade our #2 without much extra cost. My thoughts at the moment.

Kochetkov is still waiver exempt. So is Drury. It only took him 14 games to get his first point, so maybe hang onto Noesen as our 13th man.
