i think like 9 of 13 of kuzmenkos goals have been tap ins. really hard to base a next contract for him but Mikeyhev kills penalties, better defensivly, and is scoring at a better rate minus the tap ins. i agree just based on numbers he should make more, but watching him play in the 4's felt right

Those tap-ins seem like a set play to me though, and at the end of the day, he's going to look to get paid most likely. I don't think in his mind Mikheyev is a better player even if he's able to be utilized in different roles. He's only 26 though, so maybe they could give him more term to get the AAV lower like 4-4.25mx6.

yeh id be fine with that too, love the player just dont want him to get paid for inflated production. essentially id be looking to move garlands money and give it to kuz
