Looking at it this way you're right but don't forget the team is for sale. I like Dorion and DJ Smith, they look like really cool guys but they are holding this team back big time. They should be assistant GM and coach, not GM or head coach
New ownership would hopefully hire competent management who would hire the right coaching staff and build a good bottom-6 and find cheap efficient depth guys to fill holes.
