Smilanic, Heineman look like fringe pro players, nowhere near NHL caliber to be perfectly honest... Riley Kidney and Jan Mysak will not play C at the next level, and jury is still out on Mesar being a top-6. As for Norlinder, he's about as good as Karl Alzner was in his final season with the habs, so you can forget about him entirely.

The problem is that you can't just wave a magic wand and disappear some of your boat anchors. Anderson and Gallagher are with you for years and Dvorak and Armia won't go away soon. It probably won't hurt to have Matheson and Savard serve out their contracts, but your future defense is Guhle, Harris and Xhekaj, whom I would certainly love to have on one side over Anderson, Bjornfot and stiff.
