Description

Just saw ROR and Tarasenko are done for at least a month, if not longer. Figured St. Louis would be willing to sell early now. What would be the cost for Barbashev? I'm thinking a 2nd, prospect, and roster player to make the cap work?

Pens still need to move out someone. I'd prefer that player be Dumo, but I'm not sure who is looking for veteran D. I'd be more than willing to retain half on him.

I think this is in the ballpark. I could see them maybe wanting an extra pick, maybe a 4th, for retaining and taking back salary.

For better or for worse and sometimes both, the Blues almost never commit to a tank. It's just the franchise culture. If they did start selling off early, it would be a rarity. On the other hand, the 23 draft is also a bit of a rarity. But yeah, I'd be surprised if they just up and quit on the season because of adversity.
